Estrogen does not work alone. Neither does thyroid, or cortisol, or testosterone. They talk to each other constantly, which is why you cannot fix one hormone at a time, and why a panel with a single number circled tells you almost nothing about how you feel.
I read them as a conversation instead of a list. Usually the loudest symptom is not where the problem started.

“She looked deeper and found that my thyroid was not optimal, although it showed ‘normal’ on the lab range. She did further testing and we discovered I had Hashimoto's. With the right nutrition, supplements, and stress management, my blood sugar and cholesterol improve without medication.”
If your nervous system is running hot and your blood sugar is on a rollercoaster, adding a hormone to that is like tuning one string on an instrument nobody is holding still. It can work. It far more often does not, and then people conclude that hormones were not the answer.
So we stabilize the foundation first, then support what is genuinely low, then retest and adjust. Slower on paper. Much faster in practice.
I am trained in it, I use it when the data supports it, and I will tell you honestly when I do not think you need it yet. Hormone therapy is a tool, not an identity, and it works far better on a body that has already been given a reason to feel safe.
What you will not get here is a protocol decided before I have read your labs.
