POWER PARTNERS · A FREE ROOM

Most of what I know about the body never fits inside a visit.

A visit is an hour, and the hour goes to your labs and your plan, as it should. Everything else gets said in the hallway or not at all: the recipe that actually gets made on a Tuesday, the thing that finally helped someone sleep, why a body defends its weight after a decade of doing everything right. Power Partners is the hallway. It is free, it is small on purpose, and you do not have to be a patient to be in it.

WHAT IS IN THE ROOM
The Safety Switch, read together

I wrote a short book on why the body defends its weight. Sixty pages, eight chapters. We read it one chapter a week, and every Monday I post the chapter with one question. Chapter one goes up Monday, September 14.

You can also read the whole book today, free, no login.

The kitchen table

A thread for the things that never make it into a visit. Recipes people actually cook. What helped someone sleep. What did nothing at all. You can post, or you can read along. Most people read for a while first, and that is fine.

Notes from me

Twice a week I write something short, in my own words, about what I see in practice and what the research actually says. Sleep, hunger, stress, the things a standard report does not explain. No handouts pasted in. No lectures.

WHAT IT IS NOT

It is not medical care, and I do not answer personal medical questions in the room. That is on purpose. Anything about your body deserves your history and your labs in front of me, and a public thread cannot give it that. Anything personal goes to [email protected] or a visit.

Nothing in the room costs anything, and nothing in it asks you to book.

JOINING TAKES ABOUT TWO MINUTES
1Tap the button. Your name, your email, a password you choose.
2They email you a six-digit code. Enter it. It expires in fifteen minutes, so do it in one sitting.
3You are in. Say hello at the kitchen table so the next person is not first.

Works in any browser. If you would rather have it on your phone, there is a free app called Kollab that opens the same room.

I made this room because the hallway conversations were the ones people remembered.
Come have one. If it turns out not to be for you, leaving is one click and I will not chase you.
No follow-up sequence chasing you. If it is not the right time, it is not the right time.
